In addition to its line of concrete finishing products and services, Hinding has been installing 100% Acrylic Color Coating Systems for decorative or recreational applications since 1975.
A Hinding sister company, Hinding Global Tennis, is currently making inroads in the Caribbean, installing first-class surfaces on tennis courts for luxury hotels and public facilities.
Steve Hinding, the company’s owner, achieved some fame recently for being the first businessman in the United States since the Eisenhower Administration to complete a brick-and-mortar project in Cuba! The project, a 10-court facility in Havana, was built for The Cuban Federation of Tennis. Steve will be returning in 2018 to oversee the installation of Hinding concrete flooring finishes in a newly renovated 20,000-square foot, two-story building also at the site. The work will include new locker rooms, showers, a medical room for nurses and trainers, a weight room, offices and a large conference room.
Whether the need is for concrete finishing solutions or for first-class, long-lasting recreational surfaces, Hinding has the experience and resources to deliver superlative results.
Tennis court magic in Havana, Cuba
Completed in December of 2016, the ten-court renovation of the 1991 Pan American Courts in Havana was a project spearheaded by Jake Agna, the founder of Kids on the Ball, a non-profit that promotes junior tennis. His idea was to build bridges of communication between the U.S. and Cuba through junior tennis. He partnered with Steve Hinding, representing one of the largest installers and coating contractors of tennis courts in the Northeast, following a recommendation from the United States Tennis Association.
What Our Customers are Saying:
“The Kids on the Ball Cuba Project was historic- the first bricks and mortar project since the Eisenhower administration. 10 beautiful courts at The National Tennis Center in Havana. It could not have succeeded without the faith and hard work of Steve Hinding and Hinding Tennis. They believed in the project, believed in the Cuban people, and went the extra mile numerous times in this two year project. Steve continues to believe that tennis, that sport, can help to bring our countries together. ”
